If you face an error known as an “Unexpected Error Occured. Kindly try again later. If this error persists, kindly mail us at [email protected]”. Most of the time it is a temporary error.
The main reason, for this, varies as it may have caused due to
- Data source server error (error from Facebook, Google, etc servers)
- Google sheet errors
- Our Backend errors
Some scenarios where this error occurs are:
#1 Google Sheet crossing 5 million cell limit
- The google sheet has hard limitation of 10 million cells or 18,278 columns (column ZZZ). So if you have more data in the sheet you can simply do 2 things
- You can delete ununsed data from the sheet OR
- You can delete unused rows or columns from the sheet.
#2 Google Sheet locale error (If locale is Russia)
- If you have a Spreadsheet locale as Russia, this error may occur while saving the query. You can change the locale to Ukraine by clicking on File > Spreadsheet settings > locale.
#3 Data source timeout error
- If you try to import a large amount of data from Facebook (by using a larger date range or including “Ad” related metrics). You can simply wait and try again after some time.
If this error occurs inspite of all the above mentioned points, you can try hard refreshing the sheet and then re-open the addon and try the same query.
#4 Query sheet assignment error
If you are trying to save the query & you receive an error “Unexpected error occurred” it might be due to the query sheet not assigned properly.
To resolve it you can follow the below steps.
- Go to DigiXport > Assign Query sheet
- Click on “Use current sheet”.
Now you can re-run the query and the error will be resolved.
